The texture works brilliantly, as does the limited palette of pinks, reds and yellows. The splash at the top-right and bottom-left corners balances it out nicely... but does seem a little out of place next to the lovely art noveau style of the centrepiece...? Eh. I don't know. It would probably distract the eye from the centrepiece if it was more detailed, so feel free to ignore that part.
I like how you've drawn the characters on the K/Q/J cards wearing similar clothing on both sides, and the lineart is wonderfully smooth and appealing. Your drawing style works great when merged with Art Noveau.
There are just one or two of jarring notes. The 'regal' Queen's arm stands out in particular - I think it's because you show the elbow, rather than letting the forearm come smoothly out of the heart as you do elsewhere.
Looking at them as a set, there's also a few pattern breaks, but this is only a very minor quibble - the 'normal' Queen holds the sceptre rather than the 'regal' one, and the positions of the 'regal' and 'normal' King are swapped compared to the other two. But those, as I said, are only minor things, and I'd probably let them be.
As for the 8, the design is interesting, there's no problem with the art and I can't really compare it to the other cards, as the K/Q/J are always set apart.
(However, you could think about making that flippable too as a sort of side experiment? It's really not necessary at all, but you've got such an interesting monster to play with, I'm sure you could find some way to make that work... but then again, lots of extra effort, and it's fine the way it is.
Anyway! Hope this was helpful.
