UPDATION!!!!!


Huzzah!
Excelsior!
I finally finished this piece, after waiting so long for my Baka-Sama to come back to me from the Computer Hospital (i.e., Best Buy's Geek Squad).

I don't know about the shading on Tsubasa's clothes,
but I still enjoyed doing this piece.

I had this whole intricate system set up to time how long it took me to complete this,
by playing my iTunes and writing down the list of songs and then adding the times,
but then the whole crashing computer thing went down and I sorta gave up on trying to time it.

The original songlist was perfect though.
It included such songs as:
All These Things That I've Done by the Killers,
Clocks- Royksopp's Remix,
Kiri by Monoral (the Ergo Proxy opening theme),
Waltz by Suneohair (the end theme of Honey and Clover),
Lift Your Head Up High (Blow Your Brains Out) by the Bloodhound Gang,
and more.
It was inspired by the actiony poses and colorful costumes from Bleach,
mainly the part in the Bleach Ending 8, and Bleach manga vol. 2, page 132 (a chapter break).

I had so much fun,
so much.
Lineart time: 42:30 mins.
Initial coloring: 1 hr. 8:51 mins.
Final coloring: approx 2 hours.
Background design: approx 5 mins.
(figure coloring in Photoshop, lineart done in Copic Multiliners, background in Illustrator)


This'll probably be added to my SCAD portfolio too,
seeing as they upped the minimum requirement for the slide portfolios.
Well, that means one down, four to go.
Next up: Gri-Ocat, Stuga Ambassador.
Try to figure that one out.
